Lucius Volusius Saturninus (died 20) was a Roman senator that lived during the 1st century BC and 1st century. Saturninus came from an ancient and distinguished senatorial family the never rose above the praetorship. Saturninus' sister was the mother of Lollia Paulina, who became Emperor Caligula’s third wife, and Lollia Saturnina who married the consul Decimus Valerius Asiaticus.
Saturninus became consul in 12 BC. Saturninus held censorial functions for selection for the knights as members of the judicature. He became the first person in his family to amass his wealth, through which his family became greatly conspicuous.[1]
He married a Roman woman called Nonia Polla. His son was the consul Lucius Volusius Saturninus.
